The event will include hedge cutting and hedge laying demonstrations by certified contractors Richard Markham and Philip Hickey, a Question and Answer session about TAMS payment schemes with Dermot Grogan from the Department of Agriculture, a talk on barn owls and other hedgerow birds by Aine Lynch and colleagues from Birdwatch Ireland, bird and bat box construction demo by Cashel Men's Shed, natural textile dyeing using hedgerow plants by Lucy Moore, local honey by Gerry Ryan, hedgerow cordials by Irish Hedgerows ltd and brief presentations on hedgerows by Alan Moore, Jimmy Duggan and Pat Maher.
